Convenient Parking:  Enjoy free parking at the soccer field on Main Street, or take advantage of the free shuttle bus service from Glastonbury High School to the show. We've got you covered!

Food and Entertainment:  Indulge in delicious offerings from the food court menu, groove to live music by Globe Hollow, and be inspired by poetry that celebrates the beauty of art. It's a feast for the senses!

Support the Arts: Your $5 donation at entry will benefit the year-round art programming and education provided to adults, teens, and children by Glastonbury Arts, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your contribution helps keep the arts alive and thriving in our community.

We are thrilled to work with Glastonbury Poet Laureate Victoria Nordlund in the presentation of this year's Poetry Inspired by Art at the  2025 "On the Green" Fine Art & Craft Show on Hubbard Green, corner of Main & Hubbard Streets in Glastonbury.  Victoria, Connecticut State Laureate Antoinette Brim-Bell and 8 other distinguished poets will present their original poetry inspired by the artwork of local artists. Check back in August for more information on participating poets and artists.

Victoria Nordlund, Glastonbury’s 4th Poet Laureate, is a celebrated poet and educator. "I look forward to bringing life to poetry in a public setting." Her poetry collections Wine-Dark Sea and Binge Watching Winter on Mute are published by Main Street Rag. She is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut, and lead master teaching artist of the The Nook Farm Writers Collaborative at The Mark Twain House & Museum. www.victorianordlund.com

  • Food Vendor Application & Information

    Our goal is to offer show patrons a diverse menu in our food court while making  it a profitable experience for each food vendor. Therefore, we do not allow overlap of menus between vendors.


    Accepted vendors must apply for a Temporary Food Service permit from the Town of Glastonbury Health Department by no later than August 23, 2024.

Every year, Glastonbury Arts members who don't have their own booth are invited to participate in the Members Art Show & Salat the On the Green Show, located near the Glastonbury Historical Society Museum - see show map. This delightful "show within a show" has been a beloved tradition for many years, offering our talented members an incredible platform to showcase and sell their amazing artwork. But that's not all! Participation in the Members Art Show also means volunteering to support this fantastic event. Don't worry, all volunteer assignments are a breeze and provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community and contribute to the success of the On the Green Show. 2025 JUDGES FOR AWARDS

LIZ BLODGETT (Craft Judge) is a ceramic artist with a background in printmaking. Liz’s work uses the techniques of majolica, sgraffito, water etching, and lamination to create compelling imagery evocative of patterns found in nature.

DIANE CADRAIN (Art Judge) creates imagery that combines fragility with strength and the evanescent with the eternal. Her fiber art employs the techniques of fabric painting, quilting, felting, embroidery, thread painting, and beading.

LINDA JONES (Jewelry Judge) creates wearable art, shaping, inscribing, or piercing the metal, filing, polishing, and oxidizing – all in the service of creating unique designs. Each piece is created with a rhythm, a jazzy pair of earrings, a classical necklace, or a tribal bohemian bracelet.
